We are always seeking volunteers with a true servant’s heart—individuals who feel called to serve others and make a meaningful difference. At Hunting For The Cure, we call this mission “Sharing a Smile.”
If you have never served others before, you are in for something truly special, because there is nothing quite like it. It may sound hard to explain, but once you become involved—once you meet the families and their courageous warriors—something profound happens. It changes you, and it changes you for the better.
You begin to see life through a different lens, gaining a deeper appreciation for the simple things that matter most. These warriors carry a strength that is unmatched and unwavering. As you walk alongside them, you grow to know them, appreciate them, and yes—love them.
“Faith, Hope, and Love—but the greatest of these is Love” (1 Corinthians 13:13). Here, you do not just read those words—you experience them firsthand.
Through serving, you will discover emotions that stay with you long after the moment has passed: satisfaction, fulfillment, purpose, gratitude, belonging, and love. This is the heart of Hunting For The Cure. This is what it means to share a smile.

As a 100% volunteer-based organization, Hunting For The Cure relies on dedicated individuals to serve families and their children through our mission of “Sharing Smiles.” Our volunteers play a vital role in every aspect of what we do, and each opportunity—no matter the role—is essential to our success.
Quite simply, it would not be possible to do what we do without the commitment, compassion, and servant’s hearts of our volunteers.

Our volunteers are proudly known as the “Sharing A Smile Crew.” They are husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, neighbors and friends—people from all walks of life. They include outdoor enthusiasts, members of the military, firefighters, law enforcement officers, medics, nurses, farmers, business owners, homemakers, and so many others. Together, they represent everything in between.
They are the hands and feet, faithfully serving others. Yes, we hunt and fish—but it is about so much more than that.
As a volunteer, you will be given opportunities to truly make a difference by impacting families and their courageous warriors. It may be a simple drive from the airport, a quiet moment together in a deer stand, or standing behind a camera capturing a once-in-a-lifetime memory. Whatever the opportunity, each moment becomes a chance to share hope, offer encouragement, and show love.
